Weeping cherry week in Blackheath
Blackheath is known as the Rhododendron Town, and rightly so with thousands of the plants blooming from now until almost Christmas.
But a visitor to the Upper Mountains town this week could rightly have thought it could be "weeping cherry" town, such was the abundance of these magnificent trees.
Although the flowering time is very short and sweet, there's no denying that it's spectacular when it happens, as these photographs show.
