The Mountains will take centre stage on Network TEN's The Bachelorette Australia tonight, as Elly Miles and her date embark on a quest to find love on board (or should we say hanging below) the iconic Scenic Skyway.
Airing on Network TEN at 7.30pm, the popular reality dating show - now in its sixth season - follows the sister duo Elly and Becky Miles on their search to find love from a cast of 20 male suitors.
Filmed at Katoomba's Scenic World, episode three showcases the Mountains to viewers all across Australia and more than 250,000 Facebook fans and 181,000 Instagram followers. The sister duo also has a strong social media following, alongside show host Osher Gnsberg's 154,000 Instagram followers.
Scenic World Managing Director, Anthea Hammon, encouraged viewers to tune in, and said the national exposure was a big win for Blue Mountains tourism.
"It has been a tumultuous year for the Blue Mountains - from bushfires to floods and a global pandemic," she said.
"This is a unique opportunity to showcase the Blue Mountains' world class landscapes in a new light and encourage visitors to reignite their affinity for our region."
Scenic World Chief Experience Officer, Amanda Byrne, added that the Blue Mountains was the ideal destination for a romantic getaway within easy reach from the Sydney CBD.
"As any Bachelor fan knows, Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich had their first date onboard the Skyway in the first Australian series... now they're hitched," she said.
"Serving up world class walking trails, panoramic views and a plethora of fine dining options, the Blue Mountains has all the essentials for couples to create their own magic."
