"Nature's Resilience Reimagined" is a new contemporary exhibition of local visual artist Christine Hyde
Hyde said visitors will see very contemporary interpretative art painted specifically for this exhibition and the theme is inspirational, focussing not on loss but on hope that the land so damaged by recent events will draw on its natural resilience and recovery.
Hyde wants to draw the viewer into her narrative, to depict nature's personality and randomness and to contemplate and imagine the future of our habitat.
While official openings are still not possible at Braemar, Hyde will be "on duty" every Sunday afternoon and at other times, for the exhibition's duration.
Nature's Resilience Reimagined opens on Thursday, February 18 and runs until Sunday, March 14 at Braemar Gallery, 104 Macquarie Road, Springwood. Braemar is open 10am-4pm Thursday-Sunday.
