The dine and discover vouchers issued by the state government have arrived in the Mountains and local businesses have quickly jumped on board.
There are more than 80 restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, bars, cinemas and accommodation centres signed up to the scheme.
The lion's share of venues are in the Mountains two biggest towns - Katoomba (38 places) and Springwood (16) but are scattered from the top at Mt Victoria down to Glenbrook.
Any business displaying the Dine and Discover logo will accept a voucher, which can be used seven days a week, including public holidays.
Any NSW resident over the age of 18 can apply for the $100 in vouchers: Two $25 vouchers for dining and another two $25 discover vouchers that can be used for entertainment, including live music and arts venues.
The scheme was launched by the NSW government to encourage people to get out and spend in the local community, to help businesses get back on their feet and to stimulate a post-COVID economy.
The vouchers are single use and if you use less than the $25 value, the remaining amount is forfeited - it can't be used later, nor can it be reimbursed by the business. They are valid until June 30 this year.
The state government has stipulated that vouchers can't be used for tobacco, alcohol or gambling.
For people without a smart phone or who have difficulties with technology, non-government organisation Leep can help. There is an article here about how to get the vouchers or call them on 1300 163 106.
