On Wednesday, April 14, Blue Mountains Theatre will celebrate the NSW Seniors Festival with a spectacular Morning Melodies concert supported by Blue Mountains City Council and Springwood Neighbourhood Centre.
This special concert will be a real crowd-pleaser: Rod Stewart and the Best of British show featuring the astounding Dave Patten as the voice of Rod Stewart. Few voices are as recognisable as that of Rod Stewart, and Dave Patten is as close as you will see and hear to Rod anywhere in the world.
The audience will take an epic musical journey back through the early influences on Rod's career, including The Beatles, Gerry & The Pacemakers and The Rolling Stones and many more legendary bands of the British Invasion era of the 1960s.
Accompanied by his band of world class musicians, Dave Patten will also bring to life Rod Stewart hits, including: Maggie May, Tonight's The Night, Have I Told You Lately and many more.
The annual Seniors Festival Morning Melodies concert at the Hub is traditionally a sold out event, so be quick to book. Tickets $22 (includes take-home baked treat and concert). Concert starts at 11am. Tickets at the box office (weekdays noon-3pm), by phone on 4723 5050 or at www.bluemountainstheatre.com.au.
