LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:
* Australia will shift to mass coronavirus vaccination clinics in a bid to save the troubled immunisation program.
* Prime Minister Scott Morrison has abandoned his opposition to major vaccination hubs, which Labor and doctors have pushed for.
* The next national cabinet meeting has been brought forward to Monday and after that will convene twice a week as it seeks to rectify Australia's COVID-19 vaccination program.
* NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says she's happy to take part in more national cabinet meetings but only if Canberra improves transparency about vaccine supplies.
* Queensland will ease coronavirus restrictions from 6am on Thursday after no new locally-acquired cases were reported.
* The Queensland Nurses and Midwives Union has lodged a formal dispute with the state's industrial umpire, accusing Queensland Health of taking a haphazard approach to personal protective equipment designed to stop the coronavirus infections.
* Australian Council of Trade Unions has lodged a written request for a meeting with the prime minister to address the vaccine rollout in aged and disability care.
* New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has defended her government's vaccine rollout before the reopening of trans-Tasman travel on Monday.
* Just 30,194 Kiwis have been fully vaccinated, ranking NZ 74th in the world in terms of percentage of the population full vaccinated, according to Johns Hopkins University.
AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:
* There have been 1,295,672 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Tuesday, including 60,991 in the past 24 hours.
* Of the total, 700,332 have been administered by the Commonwealth, an increase of 43,523 in the past 24 hours.
* 547,512 have been doled out in primary care (+39,034), and 152,820 in aged and disability facilities (+4489).
* 595,340 have been administered by the states and territories, an increase of 17,468 in the past 24 hours.
* 160,637 have been administered in NSW (+4743), 152,363 in Victoria (+4565), 115,025 in Queensland (+2606), 70,584 in Western Australia (+1689), 40,728 in South Australia (+1522), 25,832 in Tasmania (+1218), 18,644 in the ACT (+585), and 11,527 in the NT (+540).
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Australia reported no locally-acquired virus cases on Tuesday. There were 13 overseas-acquired cases in hotel quarantine: seven in WA, three in NSW, two in Queensland, and on in SA.
* The national death toll is 910: Victoria 820, NSW 56, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3 (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Cases: at least 137,464,000.
* Deaths: at least 2,959,000.
* Recovered: at least 78,315,000.
