LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:
* NSW has reimposed COVID-19 restrictions for Greater Sydney, including compulsory masks indoors and on public transport and a 20-person cap on indoor gatherings.
* The wife of a Sydney man in his 50s whose infection was announced yesterday also tested positive for the virus.
* Queensland and WA will send people who've been to the Sydney exposure sites into mandatory 14-day hotel quarantine from Friday morning.
* New Zealand will suspend quarantine-free travel from NSW for at least 48 hours from midnight on Thursday (NZST).
* A 66-year-old Queensland man is in intensive care with blood clots after receiving his first AstraZeneca jab.
* A 70-year-old Tasmanian man is in hospital after developing blood clots a week after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.
* The Therapeutic Goods Administration revealed 11 people developed thrombosis with thrombocytopaenia syndrome after getting the vaccine as of May 2, when 1.4 million AstraZeneca doses had been administered.
* WA will ease restrictions from Saturday, with face masks optional in most circumstances, after the state had a fifth straight day without local cases.
* Prime Minister Scott Morrison said repatriation flights from India should be able to resume from May 15 after a pause. Australians in India may have to wait months to get on a flight.
* A legal challenge to the travel ban from India will be heard on Monday.
* The NT raised concerns about a potential plan, floated by Immigration Minister Alex Hawke, to use the Howard Springs facility to exclusively quarantine people repatriated from India.
* Mr Morrison said Victoria's quarantine facility proposal for Melbourne's northern fringe was "fair dinkum".

* Sydney Roosters players were tested and staff told to stay home after an infected man visited a cafe near the club's headquarters.
* Sydney's AFL players and coaches all tested negative for COVID-19, after both clubs were instructed to be tested late on Wednesday. Several Swans coaches visited a hotspot location on Monday.
AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:
* There have been 2,473529 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Wednesday, including 77,215 in the previous 24 hours.
* Of the total, 1,593,330 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of 55,117 in the previous 24 hours).
* 1,344,345 have been issued in primary care (+49,632 ) and 248,985 in aged and disability facilities (+5485).
* 880,199 have been administered by the states and territories, including 22,098 in the previous 24 hours.
* 239,468 have been administered in Victoria (+9064), 224,076 in NSW (+4482), 152,111 in Queensland (+2226), 107,834 in Western Australia (+2419), 65,453 in South Australia (+1663), 41,664 in Tasmania (+779), 31,544 in the ACT (+811) and 18,049 in the NT (+654).
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Australia reported two new locally acquired virus cases on Thursday, a man and a woman in NSW. There were 18 new overseas-acquired cases; nine in NSW, three each in Queensland and WA, two in Victoria and one in the NT.
* The national death toll is 910: Victoria 820, NSW 56, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3 (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Cases: at least 155,216,000.
* Deaths: at least 3,242,360.
* Recovered: at least 91,648,000.
