Scenic World is celebrating the dark side this winter with a new evening experience that illuminates the night sky with a Disco Skyway.
Marking the first ever evening experience at Scenic World, Light Up the Night kicks off when the sun goes down from June 25 to July 11, celebrating the stunning Blue Mountains night sky as part of an illuminated evening circuit.
Featuring a Disco Skyway with epic lights and music curated by local legends, Hermitude, visitors can soak up the stars like never before - suspended 270m above the Jamison Valley.
Watch the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Orphan Rock come to life as part of a dazzling light display and continue the journey along the Katoomba Falls Night-Lit Walk - a family-friendly 1.3km evening light circuit, operated by Blue Mountains City Council.
Visitors can wrap up the adventure with a return trip on the Disco Skyway and treat their tastebuds with winter warmers and desserts at Scenic Supper.
Scenic World chief experience officer, Amanda Byrne, said the new experience was developed in response to strong customer demand for nature-based evening experiences in the Blue Mountains.
"Light Up the Night celebrates our stunning escarpments and natural environment, offering visitors new and exciting ways to explore our world heritage wilderness," she said.
"We're excited to introduce new, innovative product that builds on our strengths in delivering authentic experiences with world class customer service, appealing to domestic travellers who are looking for unique experiences close to home."
Light Up the Night also seamlessly connects with the Katoomba Night-Lit Walk, operated by Blue Mountains City Council, which has been a major drawcard for Sydneysiders looking to escape the city.
"We are thrilled to work together with BMCC to promote the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains, and provide a new outdoor evening event for locals and visitors to enjoy," said Ms Byrne.
