Council will consult with Katoomba hospital to get three disabled parking spots in Woodlands Road outside the emergency entrance to give people with a disability access after hours.

At its May meeting, councillors unanimously passed an urgency motion from Ward 1 Crs Kerry Brown and Don McGregor to get the disabled places marked out. Although the hospital does have disabled parking, it is some distance from the emergency department, which is the only entrance to the hospital open after hours.
