NEW CASES
* 1838 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19
* Seven deaths reported on Sunday:
- A man in his 50s, woman in her 60s, man in his 70s and man in his 90s (all from Hume)
- A man in his 80s (Mornington Peninsula)
- A man in his 80s (Tarralgon)
- A woman in her 80s (Whittlesea)
* Death toll from the current outbreak: 145
* Of the latest cases in metropolitan Melbourne:
- western suburbs 527
- southeastern 612
- northern 449
- eastern 101
* 142 of the new cases are in regional Victoria, including:
- Greater Shepparton 33
- Baw Baw Shire 19
- Greater Geelong 19
- Mildura 12
* Total active cases: 23,376, including just under 1604 in regional Victoria
* 72,501 test results processed on Saturday
VACCINATIONS
* 38,977 vaccines administered at state-run hubs on Friday
* 89 per cent of Victorians over 16 have had a first vaccine dose and 65.5 per cent a second
HOSPITALISATIONS
* 777 people in hospital, down 21 from Saturday, 151 of whom are in intensive care, including 94 on a ventilator
* 90 per cent of people in hospital with COVID-19 are not fully vaccinated
