Australian folk, rock and blues singer-songwriter Kim Churchill will feature at the Baroque Room, Katoomba, for two special shows on Sunday, December 5.
It will part of the artist's tour celebrating the launch of his fourth EP, titled I Am Forgetting The End Again.
An early show will start at 3pm, followed by a 7pm late show.
Churchill will be joined on stage by cellist Joshua Luke Rea, in what promises to be an intimate feast of storytelling, highlighted by soft moments of reflection and deep insight into the songs.
Trained in classical guitar for a decade, Churchill accompanies his mastery of the instrument with blues harp, stomp box, drums and percussion. He also plays lapsteel and tambourine.
Touring extensively, he has become a venue and festival favourite.
Nearly four years in the making, the new EP was recorded on the coast of Devon in England and he had planned an extensive European tour in support of its release. COVID called for a change of plans.
Instead, Churchill is exploring far and wide around Australia, seeking out new places to present not only the new material, but also that of the three preceding EPS, which make up the whole work.
The Baroque Room is located at 15 Katoomba Street, Katoomba. Entry is via the Carrington Hotel Driveway.
