The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, Mount Tomah is nothing short of spectacular with tantalising displays and family friendly activities, destined to keep children entertained during the upcoming sunny season.
Early year explorers and their carers can join in on the fun at Seedling Nature School, where educators will engage everyone in immersive activities amongst nature's playground. Every learning experience is hands-on to enhance their curiosity, creativity, and personal development as they dig, explore and create with the gardens' native plants. School is on December 10 and 17 from 10am-noon.
Santa's Studio is back for another year of crafting fun, where little elves can choose their art medium and natural materials to make presents for those near and dear to them. It is on December 22 at 10.30am.
January has two striking new activities for the perfect day out. Drop the kids off at the Magical Edible Garden in the morning, where they will delve deep into nature to find edible plants to make their very own edible sweet mini-garden. They will even be given the opportunity to create, taste and decorate their hidden edible treasures for a tasty keepsake. On January 14 and 21 from 10.30am-noon.
And for water-based fun, book into the Wet and Wild in the Garden for an afternoon session led by the education team, who will take the troop dip-netting by the pond and leaf boat racing. An exclusive wet and wild adventure you wouldn't want to miss out on this summer. Any time on January 14 and 21.
