The coffers of Blue Mountains Refugee Support Group were treated to a healthy boost recently, following a Christmas family photo shoot in Leura.
Held on Saturday, November 20, the fundraiser was the brainchild of Danish and Rosie Ravi, who offered their photographic services for the event.
They ran a photographic business in Malaysia before coming to Australia with their two children three years ago, seeking a better life for their family.
Mr Ravi is well known around South East Asia for his coverage of international sporting events and musical concerts.
Leura Uniting Church hall served as the venue for the Christmas shoot.
Interested couples and family groups paid a small fee and walked away with a set of digital photos to be used as they desired.
