A new listening space concert series starts on Saturday, February 5 with the first 'Palais Performances' at the Palais Royale Ballroom in Katoomba.
King Curly is the invention of local singer/songwriter Steve Appel - a long time enigma of original Australian music, who has taken time out to build alternative-design mud houses. He is a true creative with songs that are beautiful and relevant to the times.
The band also features Steve Grieve on guitars and Johnny Graffham on pedal steel.
King Curly has toured throughout the world with acts as diverse as k.d. Lang, Paul Kelly and The Cat Empire.
The night will feature the launch of Songs, a new collection released song by song with accompanying home-made lockdown video clips.
The show is at the Palais, 230 Katoomba St, Katoomba. Doors open 6pm, show starts 7pm. The Palais Royale is an all ages venue however minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Tickets at www.fusionboutique.com.au.
