In just over a week another two children have been hit by a car when crossing the road in the Lower Mountains.
About 8.30am on Friday morning, two girls aged nine and seven were crossing Grahame St in Blaxland when a collision occurred with a car.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the girls sustained minor injuries but did not require treatment or to be taken to hospital.
The driver suffered shock but did not require treatment.
The accident follows last Thursday’s accident where a 10-year-old girl was hit by a car on Hawkesbury Rd.
She was taken by ambulance to Nepean Hospital for treatment and discharged the following morning.
