There is heavy traffic on the Great Western Highway at Springwood following a collision between a truck, mini-van and a car.

An Ambulance NSW spokesman said paramedics were called to the scene at 12.20pm on Wednesday and had assessed 10 patients. Only one required further treatment and was taken by road ambulance to Nepean Hospital.

West-bound lanes on the highway at Springwood are currently closed, with a contra-flow in the eastbound carriageway providing one lane in either direction.
