Blue Mountains and Nepean residents will call on the Baird Government to upgrade Nepean Hospital at a rally on Sunday, August 28.
The Labor Party will demand the Baird Government fulfils its pre-election promise to upgrade Nepean Hospital at the rally.
Opposition Leader Luke Foley, Blue Mountains MP Trish Doyle, Member for Londonderry Prue Car, and Federal Member for Lindsay Emma Husar will speak at the event.
The rally will take place at the corner of Rodgers Street and Somerset Street in Kingswood from 1pm to 3pm.
“The Baird Government has neglected the Blue Mountains and western Sydney for far too long,” said Trish Doyle.
“The Blue Mountains community won’t keep taking second best from Mike Baird. This Sunday the community will let the government know just how frustrated they are.
“Nepean Hospital has become the most over stretched in the state yet the government committed just $1 million to upgrade the hospital.”
