Mountains Bahais recently marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of Baha’u’llah, prophet founder of the Baha’i Faith.
Baha’is around the world came together last month to share with the wider community, stories of His life and of His healing message to the world.
In the Blue Mountains a gathering was held in the Wentworth Falls School of Arts for an exhibition of local artists work on spiritual themes, with a Welcome to Country by Darug and Gundungurra elder, Aunty Carol Cooper, stirring didgeridoo music, devotional songs and a film on the life of Baha’u’llah Light to the World.
One of 246 such gatherings in South Eastern Australia alone, a diverse group attended from across the Mountains and western Sydney to celebrate the main theme of Baha’u’llah - Unity, ’The earth is but one country and mankind it’s citizens.’
