Justice Crew touch down in Glenbrook

The hip-hop band dropped into the school last Wednesday, their visit the pupils’ prize for winning a nationwide anti-cancer recycling competition. St Finbar’s 180 pupils collected 536 mobile phones, to win the Sony Foundation’s phone recycling campaign. All proceeds from the resale of the phones go to the foundation’s youth cancer program. “It’s awesome; only 180 kids here and they collected more than 500 phones,” Justice Crew’s Lukas Bellesini said. “It shows the amount of effort they’ve put in.” Picture: Gary Warrick.
