Semi Final results of the Club Fours Championships have been played, M Lalor's team of R Smith, R Fitzpatrick and C Collins defeating R Leggatt, N Pieris, K Benger and C Semmler.The other semi final saw a win for C Wright, M Pattison, M Soergel and M Coleman over N Walsh, G Marvin, K Wright and L Thorne. The annual charity will be held on Friday, September 11, all bowlers welcome.
Wentworth Falls
The annual Toohey's Mens Triples tournament was held on Saturday with $1500 prize money. In first place were defending champions Dave Hukins, Nick Darias and Rod Crean; second place went to Garry McGuirk, Terry Reid and Kevin Fitzpatrick, with Jim Peoples, Steve Blake and Geoff Meeney in third place. The best card for round 1 went to Trevor Ferguson, John Priestly and Clinton Kenn; round 2 best card was Nick Gardner, Bob Burns and David Hearns; round 3 best card was won by Nev Smith, Shane Hoyer and Chris Matthews. On Saturday, September 12 the annual Mitcho Charity bowls day will kick off with a barbecue at 12.30pm with bowls to follow. The charity for the day is The Ride To Conquer Cancer in support of Tim Forde's fundraising venture which has the club's support for the month of Sepember. Men, women and new bowlers are welcome to come along to give support to this great cause. The cost is $10 which includes the bowls and barbecue.

Runners-up: Don Mc Mahon, Peter Macqueen.A successful President and Officers Day was held on 5/9, with president Paul Hoolahan welcoming special guests including the Zone 5 councillor Colin Appleby, together with three members of the Nepean District Executive team. An excellent lunch was followed by social bowls.
