Ms Roe had a long connection with the Mountains and did the definitive biography of Miles Franklin which was launched in the Mountains in 2009 at Katoomba RSL.
The great Australian national treasure and Australian literary historian’s memoir, which is called Our Fathers Cleared the Bush, is now available at Megalong Books for $29.95.
Ms Roe also recently received a medal for her lifelong service to the Australian Dictionary of Biography [ADB].
