Business owners learn digital marketing skills

For local business owners, digital marketing is more important than ever. Customers are increasingly turning away from big brands to the people around them and they want to interact in a heartbeat on their smartphone.

Enter the concept of the micro-moment: potential customers want to know, to do, to go and to buy in an instant. Digital business owners must be able to serve their customers or client in that moment.

A group of business owners recently attended a Springwood seminar led by Fairfax Marketing Services about how they can make the most of this new trend.

Angela Zadro-Jones from Awen Natural Therapies in Leura was hoping to find more ideas about her own digital marketing.

“What I’ve learned is that I am doing what I need to do and I think I’m doing it quite well, but they [Fairfax Marketing Services] are going to give me a digital health check-up to make sure there’s nothing that I’ve missed,” she said.
