Katoomba’s Da Capo Music Therapy Services presented its first Magic Music Festival on Saturday, September 23. All current clients were invited and had the opportunity to perform.
Clients came from Greystanes Disability Services and the Ritz, some performing their own compositions. Many take part in weekly music therapy sessions, including a group of young people who learn not only music skills but social and life skills. The two directors of Da Capo Music Therapy Services, Frauke Petri and Judy Reynolds also entertained the crowd with some brass music. The event was held at the Bethany Gospel Hall, Waratah Street, Katoomba.
