The 33-year-old Bankstown man will appear in Penrith Local Court on Thursday, February 8.
On Wednesday morning, police allegedly seized 159 cannabis plants and 1.25kg of loose cannabis, which have an estimated potential street value of over $450,000.
Police will allege the property, in Plateau Rd, Springwood had been converted into a hydroponic house.
The man was charged with enhanced indoor cultivation for a commercial purpose, organising/conducting/assisting a drug premises, found on/entering/leaving drug premises, and other enhanced drug cultivation offences.
Police have seized 159 cannabis plants being grown at a home in Plateau Rd, Springwood.
About 7.30am on Wednesday, February 7, police searched the property.
A 33-year-old Bankstown man has been arrested, a police spokesman said, and he is assisting Springwood police with their inquiries.
