The Broncos – and Queensland – received some optimistic news after Josh McGuire’s latest medical.
He could be fit to suit up for Queensland in the opening match of the series on June 6.
Although he damaged his ankle in the Broncos win over the Rabbitohs and will need an extended stay on the siedline, he won’t need surgery.
The good news was despite anterior ligament problems, he did not damage his previously-ruptured Achilles tendon.
