Mamma Mia – Here We Go Again will premiere at Glenbrook Cinema on Friday, July 20 as the feature attraction in another of the popular Rotary charity night screenings.
The original Mamma Mia movie released in 2008 following the successful stage show in 1999 - and was one of the most successful modern musical cinema attractions of the era.
The sequel features several of the original cast members and offers a repeat dose of wonderful Abba music and movie fun.
Ron Curran, proprietor of the Glenbrook Cinema, has secured the new movie for a premiere Rotary charity screening on the same week it opens around Australia.
This special night continues cinema’s long history of supporting the local community in 2018 - as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of operation in Glenbrook.
Lower Blue Mountains Rotary President Michelle Fisher praised the Glenbrook Cinema for the productive ongoing partnership developed in recent years.
“It is important to acknowledge that Ron organises dates for our charity screenings and provides all seats in the theatre at a substantial discount. Rotarians provide refreshments and finger food – and we add a small margin to the tickets to allow us to raise funds for local youth projects, Australian Rotary Health Research and The Rotary Foundation,” she said.
Book for the charity screening with Rotarian Gaye Van Der Meer on 0430 433 717.
Doors will open at 7pm and the screening commences at 8pm.
