GARDENS POPULAR
The Lower Mountains Springtime Open Gardens weekend last month has been hailed as a success. Raising funds for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children, the Blue Mountains Lantern Club and the Rotary Club of Springwood joined forces to present six large gardens in the Winmalee and Yellow Rock area. Each of the gardens had different themes and qualities and most garden owners were on hand to chat to the public. The service clubs are grateful to Oasis Horticulture, United Nurseries Hawkesbury Heights, John Hogan Solicitors, Hunter Shoes Springwood, Woodford Homes, Springwood Newsagency, Springwood Garden Centre and IGA Springwood for their support.
