Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski and her cast members in The Handmaid's Tale have missed out on the Screen Actors Guild Award for best ensemble in a TV drama series.
The award was won by This Is Us.
Sydney-born Strahovski was nominated alongside cast-mates including Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Joseph Fiennes, Max Minghella and Elisabeth Moss
Earlier at the ceremony Emily Blunt was a surprise winner of the supporting actress in a film category for her performance in A Quiet Place.
Blunt took the prize ahead of Australia's Margot Robbie, nominated for playing Queen Elizabeth I in the period drama Mary Queen of Scots, and Oscar contenders Amy Adams (Vice), Emma Stone (The Favourite) and Rachel Weisz (The Favourite).
Other early winners at Sunday's ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium were: Mahershala Ali (supporting actor in a film - Green Book); Rachel Brosnahan (lead actress in a TV comedy series - The Marvelous Mrs Maisel); The Marvelous Mrs Maisel (TV comedy series ensemble); Jason Bateman (lead actor in a TV drama series - Ozark); Sandra Oh (lead actress in a TV drama - Killing Eve).
