A new modular stage, a drinks bar at the back of the room and the Mountains' newest entertainment venue is ready for business.
Le Salon Grand has opened in the Palais Royale in Katoomba.
Entertainment producer, Bryan Cutts, who has worked with one of the Palais's owners, Ron Chongbang, to set up the ballroom, said it will be perfect for a variety of performances.
"What I'm offering at Le Salon Grand is an intimate space which is accessible to independent artists, and where discerning audiences who are looking for a completely immersive night out can enjoy themselves."
He already has a number of acts booked to appear, including tribute shows to Neil Diamond, Carole King and Elton John.
Mr Cutts said the space is flexible and can be arranged seat audiences of 50-100 at tables for dinner and show events, and up to 200 people theatre-style.
The modular stage comes apart in sections and can be reconfigured in a number of ways, small or large area, even as a catwalk.
The venue will be able to host cabarets, concerts, comedy and theatre.
Mr Cutts will be bringing his own annual Yulefest dinner and show, The Goon Show Live!, to Le Salon Grand this winter.
