Now in its 38th year, the Leura Village Fair will be held on the weekend of October 12-13.
This vibrant event sees market stalls lining Leura Mall under the cherry blossoms and extending into Megalong Street car park. The Fair also coincides with the last weekend of the renowned Leura Gardens Festival.
There's something for everyone, with stallholders offering everything from handicrafts, fair trade goods, vintage wares, fashion, jewellery, gadgets and toys to dog accessories, cool-climate plants, preserves and fresh produce. Artists are invited to showcase their talents; local musicians add to the festival atmosphere and regional winemakers will showcase their varietals.
The Megalong Street Carpark is transformed into a food and beverage hub. All your take-home favourites will be there - nougat and fudge, balsamics and sauces, bread and salami, wine and honey, kombucha and spices; and our international canteen will offer cuisine from Turkey, China, France, Vietnam, Spain and Peru.
As always, the shops and cafes of Leura will be open during the fair and a number will be providing tables of not-to-be-missed bargain sales.
Visitors are recommended to arrive by train, as parking is very limited.
More details are available at www.leuravillage.com.au and you can also follow the Festival on Facebook and Instagram.
The fair will run from 9am-4.30pm on the Saturday and from 9am-3.30pm on the Sunday.
