The closures are set to take place on Thursday May 28, depending on the weather.

A Parks spokeswoman said: "We will have a helicopter working in the Perry's Lookdown and Cliff Top Track areas of Blackheath, Thursday 28th May. The helicopter is delivering walking track materials to areas that are currently closed as per the Park Alerts page for Blue Mountains National Park."

There will be access issues along Hat Hill Rd for Anvil Rock and Perry's Lookdown. From 6am to 10am access for walkers and cyclists is only possible to Anvil Rock - Perry's Lookdown will be closed for the operation.

The gate is currently locked to vehicles at the Blue Mountains National Park boundary below Hat Hill.

Govetts Leap Lookout and carpark will be closed all day. There will be no access to Govetts Leap. The Fairfax Track will also be closed all day, due to a change in the helicopter's flight path for the operation.
