Mayfield Garden's spring festival will run from Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, October 25.
The full 65-hectare Oberon garden - including the 50-hectare private family estate - will be open for the duration of the festival.
Apart from experiencing the extraordinary blooms and colors of an awakening spring garden, visitors to the private garden also get to enjoy one of Australia's largest English box hedge mazes, the Mayfield amphitheatre, family chapel, water garden, stumpery and rowing on the Mayfield lake.
Mayfield's manager, marketing and events, Amy Hotham, said that spring is one of the more spectacular and popular times to visit Mayfield Garden.
"Visitors to our spring festival usually come to see the amazing explosion of colour but I think this year there is the added attraction of getting back to nature and finding a bit of space to spread out with family and friends," she said.
"It has been a tough few month for everyone, so all of us here at Mayfield are hoping that we can offer some respite for visitors from across NSW.
"We are mindful of the fact that the safety of our visitors is our number one priority, and as such we are expecting everyone to play a role by maintaining social distancing requirements.
"You can bring a picnic lunch, book a table at our popular café, or take advantage of additional food outlets we'll be offering during the festival."
The garden will be open during the festival from 9am-5.30pm, with no entry after 4pm.
Visitors looking for a truly immersive experience during the Spring Festival can also take spend the night glamping in one of the luxury tents established in the Garden.
Mayfield will also be running a mini Mayfielder program during the school holidays for kids aged 5 to 12 years. Parents can drop off their children at 10.45am and collect them again at 3pm once they have completed an art class, eaten lunch and taken a special kids' tour of the garden, including some time in the famous Mayfield maze.
