A man will appear in court today (November 19) charged after allegedly performing a sexual act on a train in the Blue Mountains.
Just after 10.30pm on Saturday, September 5, a 22-year-old woman boarded a west-bound train at Strathfield Railway Station.
Police have been told a man entered the carriage at Blaxland and allegedly performed a sexual act in front of her.
The woman exited the train at Springwood and police were notified.
Following inquiries by officers from the Police Transport Command, a 22-year-old man was arrested at a Faulconbridge home about 7.30am on Monday, October 12.
He was taken to Springwood Police Station and charged with carrying out a sexual act with another without consent.
The man was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Penrith Local Court today.
