The NPWS Blue Mountains Heritage Centreis featuring the Fauna & Flora exhibition until March 27.
Initially installed in early January, the easing of COVID-19 restrictions provided an opportunity for artists and guests to gather together at the opening last month. Guest speaker, Blue Mountains artist Pam Vaughan, spoke of her years studying and depicting animals in her work.
Fauna & Flora celebrates the diversity of our unique animal and plant life following the devastation of the Black Summer bushfires.
"We feel very fortunate to have this opportunity for people to get together to view the work and celebrate the exhibition. COVID has had a devastating impact on the arts and artist income," said artist Miriam Williamson.
The exhibition is open seven days a week from 9am to 4.30 pm and runs until 2pm on Saturday, March 27 at the NPWS Blue Mountains Heritage Centre, Govetts Road, Blackheath. For more details call the centre on 4787 8877.
