About 10.55am, a C-130J Hercules will fly over the Springwood cenotaph in Buckland Park, Macquarie Road before flying over Lawson's cenotaph in Honour Avenue about 11.10am.
The Anzac Day commemoration on Sunday, April 25 holds special significance for the Air Force this year, following the marking of its 100th birthday on March 31.
All flypasts are subject to factors like air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability. As such, flypasts and displays may be subject to cancellation at short notice.
All Blue Mountains Service Clubs regretfully decided to cancel public services for Anzac Day this year due to public health restrictions caused by COVID-19. Instead, Blue Mountains residents are being urged to "Light up the Dawn" for Anzac Day by holding small services in their driveways, at their front gates or on their verandahs.
