LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:
* COVID-19 restrictions in Sydney will likely be extended as an outbreak in the city reaches a "critical phase".
* Two new locally transmitted cases have been recorded in NSW, taking Sydney's eastern suburbs coronavirus cluster to 11.
* The woman in her 50s from Sydney's north and the man in his 30s from the eastern suburbs were both diagnosed after the 8pm cut-off and will be included in Tuesday's numbers.
* Another two cases, announced on Sunday morning, were recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday and have been included in Monday's figures.
* NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says authorities are very concerned by the extremely contagious nature of the Delta strain, highlighting its fleeting transmission.
* Queensland recorded no further cases of community transmissions as authorities try to figure out how a flight attendant contracted COVID-19 while in hotel quarantine.
* Genomic sequencing results show the woman in her 30s has the less infectious Alpha variant that has been linked to a case in the same hotel.
* Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said the two cases arrived on different flights and were staying on different floors.
* The coordinator of Australia's COVID-19 vaccine rollout says supplies are being "carefully managed" ahead of a major ramping up of doses from August.
* Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who is quarantining at The Lodge in Canberra following an overseas trip, met via teleconference with state and territory leaders on Monday to discuss the rollout.
* Lieutenant General John Frewen, who is in charge of logistics for the vaccine rollout and briefed the national cabinet, said premiers had now been given a detailed breakdown of what supplies they can expect in coming months.

* There have been 6,590,741 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Sunday, including 34,712 in the previous 24 hours.
* Of the total, 3,928,733 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of 10,801 in the previous 24 hours).
* 3,514,178 have been issued in primary care (+10,801) and 414,555 in aged and disability facilities (+0).
* 2,662,008 have been administered by the states and territories, including +23,911 in the previous 24 hours.
* 906,845 have been administered in Victoria (+9562), 676,080 in NSW (+342), 434,281 in Queensland (+5111), 243,127 in Western Australia (+3413), 181,450 in South Australia (+2948), 96,781 in Tasmania (+1475), 72,565 in the ACT (+1060) and 50,879 in the NT (+0).
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Australia reported three new local cases on Monday, two in NSW and one in Victoria.
* There were 21 new overseas acquired cases in hotel quarantine: eight in Victoria, five each in NSW and Queensland, and three in SA.
* The national death toll is 910: Victoria 820, NSW 56, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3 (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Cases: at least 178,491,000.
* Deaths: at least 3,866,000.
* Vaccine doses administered: at least 2,605,313,000.
